Eleazar Rodríguez Hernández took his daughter to see the highly anticipated “Barbie” movie and showed up in style, wearing a pink tutu with a matching hot pink leotard. Internet users loved the special father-daughter moment so much that Hernández was called a hero.
As the “Barbie” film takes the world by storm, fans continue sharing their barbie inspired outfits. However, one father-daughter duo has melted people’s hearts.
But it was no ordinary opening as the proud father and his daughter showed up to the cinema in style. Hernández wore a hot pink leotard and baby pink tutu with cowboy boots and a cowboy hat.
He proudly shared his outfit on his Facebook and explained, “‘My daughter said, ‘Daddy, take me to the premiere of Barbie, but wear something pink or are you too embarrassed?’”
But after truly committing to matching his daughter’s outfit, the father joked that his daughter might be the one who’d end up embarrassed.
His daughter wore a matching tutu and a pink t-shirt with gold sandals and had her hair styled with different accessories. Hernández shared another photo of him and his daughter as they were buying the movie tickets.
This time Hernández captioned the sweet photo, ‘What movie do you want to see?” As a joke about their very obvious outfits. As much as the father joked about what he wore, he said he only shared the pictures because of his daughter.
He clarified that he would do anything to make his baby girl happy, and seeing how excited she was that day was everything he wanted. “Believe me, wearing pink clothes and a tutu does not make you any less of a man,” the father gushed.
The matching outfits caught a lot of attention on Facebook, and commenters could not stop gushing over the adorable father-daughter moment.
Commenters’ Reaction to the Matching Father-Daughter Outfits
Hernández might have posted the pictures to share his wonderful experience with his daughter, but the post reached an even wider audience than he anticipated.
Facebook users could not get enough of how adorable the father-daughter duo looked. But most importantly, Hernández inspired many people. “You are my hero,” said a commenter.
One proud Facebook user added, “Not all heroes wear capes, but also crinolines.” While another candidly wished they had experienced the same moments with their father.
